Education and Qualifications:
Our community faces many challenges. We deserve strong and effective representation from our elected leaders. We must ensure that the needs of our communtity come first when decisions are made which affect us. At the same time, we must not forget that the San Mateo County coast is increasingly recognized as an international treasure. Balancing the interests of residents, businesses and visitors is essential if we are to retain the natural beauty and small-town character which make this area so unique.

I have been a Coastside resident for 28 years and have operated a small business here for 23 years. My volunteer work as a community organizer and coastal advocate has put me in contact with county and state-wide decision makers as well as Midcoast residents.
As a member of the MCC, I will strengthen the lines of communication between Midcoast citizens, our locally-elected representatives and County/State government. I will seek input from concerned residents and carefully consider all viewpoints. I will encourage members of our
community to contribute their time, talents and vision as we shape the future of this precious place.
